Gravel ride Breda North to East via Made & Dorst

Route Description

My buddy Ben took me for another one of his rides North of Breda. I always find it challenging to get a nice unpaved route in this area. But he managed to find some really nice gravel roads and linked them up beautifully. 

From the start the route heads North towards Terheijden and takes nice unpaved roads and trails along the channel to Oosterhout. You get a completely different vibe of gravel riding here in the North compared to South of Breda. More open fields and more to the point. Still some forests like in the South, but with a different feel in terms of nature. 

Hitting the town of Made and then Oosterhout, the route turns back South again through some of the forests in the area. You cross “Vrachelse heide” where you should be aware of the MTB route crossing a few times. On the weekends it’s also a place to pay attention to those walking around and enjoying a morning in the forest.

• Tip: The route starts and ends at Kamu bikes & coffee, which is a great cycling inspired place to fill-up or rest-up.
